1) Disk Golf is Here. Try it out at the office complex. See the office manager (Hector) to get a printed diagram of the course layout.
2) The ASPOA now accepts online payments of your ASPOA Maintenance Fees, Assessments, and fines and such at ASPOA PayLease
3) Joel is our new Maintenance Man.
4) We received several free passes for our members to go to the Austin Zoo for free. See Hector in the office for those.
5) A rain water collection system is in the works behind the community hall. This will catch rain water from the roof of the community hall and store it for watering the new soccer field. This is 100% funded by the sale of a large pressure tank that was sold to the Zoo.
6) Dogs are always required to be on leash in Travis County. It will be enforced by the POA in the park, No Pets on holidays & weekends, and not cleaning up after your dog could get you removed from the park. We tried to get you voluntarily to do it, many did, but some did not.

Lakeside Park
Lakeside Park 2013 may have fire restrictions again banning BBQing at the park. If this becomes the normal we may have to order covered BBQ's to meet fire dept regs. The Porta-Pottie is now there year round for your use. Leash your pets when the parks are crowded, and please clean up after them.
ATTENTION GOLF CART OWNERS.
Two Things: 1) Most are aware of the accident that toppled a golf cart over on a family late one recent Friday Night. It would be in the best interest of the golf cart owners to self regulate the use before the board does. Please don't park on the paths (ever). It is what made a man drive down hill, and then up the hill to get back to the path (getting around a parked golf cart on the path). He went up hill the front end came off the ground and flipped over on the family. So get together and determine where you will park the carts out of everyone else's way and not cause a dangerous situation again.
2) Don't ruin it for everybody. Please preserve the stone work. It will come loose if you run up against it as is shown in the picture below.

Maintenance has installed a pet waste station in the park. Please clean up after your pet. I have seen a little girl trip and fall and came up a mess. Please don't force us to ban dogs from the parks. Use the bags and clean up before someone gets messed up. Thanks from all those that might otherwise walk through a pets waste.

ASPOA Land Use Committee
The committee meets on the 5th Wednesday (if there is one that month) to discuss the needs of our community. Projects under consideration are, security cameras at several locations, parks, trails, lighting, and roads.

This is an effort to stop any abuse before it happens. It is a violation of the Code of Ethics, as well as privacy Laws to use information gained from the POA for personal use. It takes everyone to keep the current and past directors accountable. Report it.

Dues / Billing Info
Maintenance Fees were billed in January, and due by March 1st 2013. They are still just $35 per originally platted lot as the Deed Restrictions call for.
(ARC)Architectural Review Committee Info
The (ARC) has re-written and simplified the categories of construction types, and they have been approved by the board, and should be on the website soon. Something to think about
